Power of Mind in Getting and Staying Slim. Part 2. Thinspirations.

Hi there!

It's me Svetlana.

As we will learn along the way, your mind and subconsciousness will play a paramount role in weight loss and maintenance. They are as powerful, if not more powerful than any diet and exercise combined.

To start using our brain to assist our body and weight loss and management (and I am talking about a lie-long transformation to slender, healthier you), I would like to tell you how I understand using a power of mind here. The concept of using your mind and subconsciousness for weight control is based on the following:

1. Our brain rules our lives. Brain is amazing, powerful tool, and is capable to transform us into states we have never experienced. Brain can lead people to complete self-destruction or to healing, empowering self-transformation to a better person. We can use a positive power of brain in weight loss and maintenance.

2. We are what we think of ourselves.
3. Weight gain is frequently related to emotional overeating.
4. We eat more than our body need for fuel.
5. We are what we eat.
6. If you want to be happy, BE happy.
7. Weight control requires discipline and dedication.
8. You will have cravings and have to learn how to outsmart them.

Once we chose the road to recovery from overeating and the road to transforming ourselves to healthy, energetic, slender, and happy persons, we will have to overcome obstacles on the road. Obstacles will come from multiple directions: overeating family and friends, unhealthy menues in restaurants, cravins, unethical food industry with misleading labels and tons of unhealthy food additives, personal long-term eating habits originating in the childhood, etc.
Every day there will be some strugle.
This is why we will need tons of powerful, positive motivation.
Many people who succedded in weight loss and healthy weight meintenance call them "Thinspirations".
